OTTAWA, June 1, 2021 --Today, Catherine Cobden, President and CEO of the Canadian Steel Producers Association (CSPA) announced that Nova Steel Inc. and Atlas Tube, a Division of Zekelman Industries are joining the Association. Scott Jones, CEO of Nova Steel and Anthony Frabotta, VP Finance and Government Relations for Zekelman Industries have also been appointed to the CSPA Board of Directors.
“The CSPA is pleased to welcome Nova Steel and Atlas Tube to our organization,” said Cobden. “Both companies are important players in the Canadian steel industry and their joining the CSPA further supports our mission of ensuring a strong and prosperous steel sector in Canada.”
The growth of the CSPA’s pipe and tube membership along with all of Canada’s primary steel production further strengthens the Canadian industry’s ability to speak with one voice to governments across the country.
